Over a quarter century ago, a friend who lived in Sharon suggested a great place to stop for wings. The original Quaker Steak and Lube with buckets of wings and the crazy logo of the chicken missing a wing.
Since then, I've been to a couple of other Quaker States since then sadly to find the expansion restaurants don't have the ambiance and charm of the original. Perhaps it's the surroundings, but the beer and wings taste better at the original location.
Another great experience with good wings and good service. -

I was in Sharon with my dad this weekend for his 60th high school reunion, and we happened upon Quaker Steak and Lube!
First, LOVE the name and the atmosphere [indoor and outdoor seating].
Second, ribeye well marbled, tender, did not disappoint.
Third, recommend adding bourbon baked beans as one of your sidecars!
Least, but by no means least, the service was great; I only wish I could remember the name of the young man who took care of us. We packed for nothing.

We lived in the Sharon, PA area in the mid-'70's when they first opened and felt part of the entire birth of the Quaker Steak & Lube phenomenon. This was where the concept of Buffalo wings was elevated to a gourmet level!
Fast forward 45+ years and we're THRILLED to still be able to enjoy their TERRIFIC chicken wing sauces online! We get ours through Amazon. For those of you who've never experienced the "Best Wings USA" flavors, here's the best advice I can offer:
Louisiana Lickers: Hands down, the tastiest unique chicken wing sauce you'll EVER experience! Just the right heat without being overwhelming while kicking your tongue with a Cajun bite and subtle acidic tangy jolt. THE best wing sauce in the world!
Golden Garlic: Just a notch higher in heat, but deliciously smooth with a buttery garlic flavor that flows across your tongue without being overwhelming. You like a nice bite of garlic? THIS is the real deal, you'll love it!
There are several other signature sauces that are not as spicy, or others that will burn your mouth with overwhelming heat (Atomic & Suicide). If you have the guts to go for the glory, it's an epicurean experience you'll never forget!
But, if you're just looking for THE BEST WINGS in the USA, you have to try the Louisiana Lickers and the Golden Garlic. OUTSTANDING!!!!! -

I've been wanting to come back here for a long time. It seemed so unique all those years ago; now it doesn't. The wings are good. I think it's odd that they don't put fries on the salads, everyone else in these parts seem to. It wasn't busy at all and the waiter/bartender was very slow.

We jumped on my husband's Harley and took a ride from Ohio to visit Quaker Steak and Lube. We sat outside and ordered a couple drinks. They were great! I had a vodka drink with lemonade and blueberries that was amazing...and I got to keep the glass mug it was served in...that was fun!
Our server was terrific and very nice.
We ordered some wings and ribs and ate them all up....food was perfect!
We will be back again...soon!
